ke∂jaOslo DANCE AND NEW MEDIA
10-12'th of October Dance Information Norway hosted the 4'th ke∂ja encounter, entitled ke∂jaOslo - Dance and New Media. More than 200 participants and international speakers took an active part in discussions on aspects like curating interdisciplinary performance, dance on the internet, interauthorship and collaborative methods using digital tools, dance education and digital competency, and much more. There was among other things a 5-day workshop by Johannes Birringer leading up to the encounter, and participants could enjoy performances by international dance companies visiting the CODA - Oslo International Dance festival. "Program to Perform. Exploring Dance and New media", a collection of texts by contributing speakers with backgrounds from both the dance, and the design world, was published in collaboration with Oslo School of Architecture and Design.
